By using Worth Checking for Teachers, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
Worth Checking for Teachers is a free, informational tool that helps teachers in Canada and the United States identify grants, tax credits, reimbursements, and support programs they may be eligible for. It does not require an account, email address, or payment.
The results this tool produces are for informational purposes only. They are not professional financial, legal, or tax advice. Eligibility criteria, program details, and funding availability change frequently. Always verify information directly with the relevant program, employer, union, or government body before making financial decisions.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every program listed is currently available, accepting applications, or applies to your specific situation.
Your intake answers (country, province or state, grade level, employment status, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to a server. Your answers are stored in your browser's local storage so your results are available if you return to the page. Clearing your browser data removes them entirely.
This tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the tool will be available at all times, free of errors, or that results will be complete or current. Use it at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Worth Checking and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information provided by this tool. This includes any missed application deadlines, incorrect eligibility assumptions, or financial decisions made based on results.
The content, design, and code of Worth Checking for Teachers are owned by Worth Checking and its creators. You may use the tool for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute the tool or its output without permission.
Results may include links to external program pages, government websites, and other third-party resources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of those sites. Linking to them does not imply endorsement.
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where you use the tool. For users in Canada, Ontario law applies. For users in the United States, the laws of the state in which you access the tool apply, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the tool after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
